Rift Achievement Tracker - RAT - Rattus

Rattus will allow you to track Achievement progress in a similar way that the Quest Tracker does.

Right click the Rattus icon (on the main Rattus window - NOT the minimap Rat icon!) to open up the search screen. You can use the mousewheel to scroll through this selection.

Using the mousewheel on the titlebar icon will change the scale of the windows.

Search for the achievement you wish to add, and click it to add/remove it from the current active set.

You can also remove them by leftclicking the achievement icon.

Completed achievements or requirements are show in green.

You can drag the tracker around by left-clicking and dragging the rat icon.

Mouseover the Rattus titlebar to reveal the icon controlpanel : Left to Right :

  • Go to previous achievement set
  • Toggle display of completed objectives
  • Toggle display of progress text
  • Toggle display of progress bars
  • Toggle activation of autozone
  • Delete current set (RIGHT CLICK)
  • Go to next achievement set

Right clicking the minimap icon will hide any open UI screens, clicking a second time will show any that were showing when they were hidden.

NEW: autozone

This is a feature where Rattus will load a set matching your current zone automatically.

If your current set is 'Normal', and you have one called 'Ember Isle' then it will switch to Ember Isle, when you set foot on EI, and switch back to Normal when you leave.

To aid in setting up sets, you can do (where ZONE is literal)

/rattus new ZONE

And it will create a new set based on your current zone name, without you have to type it in exactly correctly.

/rattus autozone -- toggles autoloading of sets that match the zonename
/rattus hidecomplete -- toggles display of completed objectives
/rattus progress text -- toggles display of progress text
/rattus progress bars -- toggles display of progress bars
/rattus add NAME -- Adds the achievement(s) called NAME to the current set
/rattus delete NAME -- Removes the achievement(s) called NAME to the current set
/rattus load NAME -- makes the set NAME active
/rattus copy NAME -- copies the current set to NAME
/rattus new [NAME] -- creates a new set [called NAME]
/rattus rename NAME -- renames the current set to NAME
/rattus deleteset [NAME] -- deletes the set NAME, or current set if no name given
/rattus list -- lists all currents sets

Since you seem so keen on it - yes I will add this, though it will need a specific action.

r5 will have it, but I dont really want to make a new release just for this =/

In r5, you will need to:

    /script Rattus_Settings.showdelete = false

    And then logout or /reloadui

Thanks for the quick answers and changes.

The right click for delete is much better than left but I'd still prefer to hide it completely. Any chance of adding a command line switch (similar to the hide one) for hiding the delete button completely? I can certainly edit the lua file and manually hide it but I'm lazy and don't want to have to remember to do that after every release. ;)

    @Adelea: Go

OK - after playing around with it, I cant find anywhere that I like for the location of the delete icon...

So - instead of it needing a left click, I have changed it so that it uses a right click -- that is much less likely to happen by accident.

    @wilcoxon: Go

The easiest way to remove an achievement from the current set is to click the icon next to the achievements name - searching for it was never intended to be the method to use =)

But I can certainly add back in the command line to add/remove achievements.

I will move the remove icon also - maybe next to the setname itself :

If you edit Rattus_Main.lua and go to line 259 :

    RX.UIElements.header.dele:SetPoint("TOPRIGHT", RX.UIElements.header.ffor, "TOPLEFT", 0,0)

    And change this to

    RX.UIElements.header.dele:SetPoint("TOPRIGHT", RX.UIElements.header.active, "TOPLEFT", 0,0)

    That will do this too.

Or, if you add somewhere soon after line 256:

    That will hide it completely.

Please add the /rattus remove command back. I find it much simpler than the "new" search and remove method.

Also, please add a way to turn off the delete icon on the Rattus bar. I just deleted one set accidentally. I do not like something as destructive as delete being so easily clickable.

This is a really great addon and I have been using it track some of the more difficult achievements in the Whitefall Steppes warfront. For most achievements the addon works really well, but one thing i noticed is that it cannot effectively track achievements that require a set of criteria that must be completed before a warfront ends. 'Whitefall Steppes All-Star' is one example. It requires 3 defiant base kills, 3 neutral area kills, 3 guardian base kills, 1 stone return, and 1 stone capture. At the end of the match, if the criteria are not met, the numbers on your tracker do not reset. The user must delete the achievement from the tracker, close the tracker's achievement list, reopen the achievement list, and reselect the achievement. Perhaps, in a future update, you could look into a way to fix this. Maybe you could add some sort of refresh button that rechecks the specific achievements a player is tracking and updates any changes. Thanks again!
